There are many voices on the network that plastic will be particularly easy to age, so PPR water pipes are easy to break down after a year or two, which is unfounded. Plastics do age, but not all types of plastics will age quickly, and the argument that PPR water pipes are easy to break down after a year or two is obviously a rumor.

As a plastic material, PPR water pipe does have a service life, which we call the life cycle of the material. According to the material properties of random copolymer polypropylene (PPR), the inflection point of mechanical properties will occur after 50 years at 60 ° C. Under normal circumstances, even in summer, the water temperature transported by PPR water pipes is only about 20 ° C, so it can be guaranteed that PPR water pipes can be used for more than 50 years under normal circumstances. Of course, the premise is not mixed with other impurities. Therefore, most regular PPR water pipe manufacturers will give PPR water pipe warranty for 50 years, which is standard. As long as it is pure PPR raw materials, under normal circumstances, the life will be more than 50 years. Therefore, the general regular PPR water pipe brand will be guaranteed for 50 years, and consumers can also rest assured to buy.
